The Torta di Rose Infermentum contains all the poetry of traditional pastry making: it is born from the encounter between sourdough , fresh butter and sugar , which come together in a soft and light dough, scented with candied orange and Madagascar Bourbon vanilla .
Typical of the city of Mantua and the Lake Garda area, Torta di Rose takes its name from its unique shape: rolls of leavened dough arranged like the petals of a bouquet of flowers, which brown and open up during baking, giving off an intense aroma and a soft center.
Served hot , it reveals its full splendor: the surface becomes slightly crunchy, while the inside remains delicate and fragrant, with a perfect balance between butter and brown sugar.
It is the ideal dessert for breakfast or a snack , but it also lends itself magnificently as a dessert to share , accompanied by a glass of Moscato or Recioto della Valpolicella.
