“Le Tourbillon de la Vie” Rouge 2021 - Domaine Jean-Philippe Padié

Red wine obtained from pure Grenache grapes from the Agly valley.

To preserve freshness, a portion of the grapes is destemmed and one is kept whole bunch, fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts and vinification takes place at a controlled temperature. No pumping over for the grapes left whole bunch. The racking is followed by refinement in cement for about 8 months.

The Domaine has been established since 2003 in Calce in the Agly valley, on a multitude of geological matrices that vary between limestone, schist and marl.

With Jean-Philippe Padiè we land in Languedoc-Roussillon, where Jean-Philippe manages 15 hectares of vineyards including Carmignano, Grenache and Syrah, Mourvedre, Maccabeu, Grenache bianco and grigio.

The philosophy is in line with biodynamics, from following the lunar phases to intervening as little as possible both in the vineyard and in the cellar, aiming to express the balance of the terroir in the glass without any forcing. The wines are delicious, fresh, we would like to have liters and liters of them even in the hottest summers, to drink in the company of the best people.
