Santa Caterina is a Ligurian farm located in Sarzana. Founded by Andrea Kihlgren, even though the land was already owned by the Kihlgren family.
Santa Caterina extends over 11 hectares of which 7 are vineyards. Between highly clayey soils in the surroundings of the property and alluvial soils in the area of Giucaro and Ghiaretolo.
The work in the vineyard is as natural as possible and we try to avoid the use of chemical products and follow biodynamics.
In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous thanks to indigenous yeasts and can take place both in jars and in stainless steel. Wood is also used for refinements, with the use of tonneaux.
