A large winery based in Barolo in the beautiful Langhe, and which for the Langhe as we know it today was of fundamental importance for the key role played by the historic owners in understanding the great potential of Nebbiolo. It was in fact the granddaughter of the Sun King, Juliett Colbert, wife of the Marquis Carlo Tancredi Falletti, who put her foot down to improve the then poor quality of wines from Nebbiolo grapes in the Langhe area, laying the foundations, in 1807, for that rosy future whose fruits we can taste today. The property is now owned by the Abbona family, who for several generations have followed with great experience and wisdom the production of over a million bottles of the historic Barolo winery.
