iContadini - Caper Fruits 100g
iContadini - Caper Fruits 100g
I Contadini 's caper berries come from traditional cultivations in the lower Salento region. They are the ripe fruit of the caper plant, hand-picked in the summer and preserved in wine vinegar to preserve their crunchiness and flavor.
Compared to traditional capers, caper berries (also known as cucunci) have a meatier pulp and a more delicate flavor, with a savory, tart note. They're excellent as an appetizer, in salads, cold dishes, or as a garnish for fish-based main courses.
