E. Pira and Sons - Barolo DOCG Mosconi 2018

Chiara Boschis' Barolo Mosconi comes from the winery's oldest vineyard, located on the estate of the same name.

An authentic Barolo di Monforte, produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes (Michet and Lampia) that grow on ancient Helvetian soil, where gray marls alternate with siliceous sandstones. These are soils at 400 meters above sea level that give the wine great structure and prepare it for long aging.

Aging: 2 years in French oak barriques and at least 1 year of refinement in bottle.
