Domaine Claude de Nell - Grolleau Rouge 2019

Pure Grolleau grapes grown on clayey, silty and calcareous soil rich in red sandstone from vines aged between 60 and 90 years using biodynamic methods.

Maceration for 20 days with pumping over at controlled temperature. Aged between 12 and 18 months on the fine lees in fifth passage French barrels.

The domaine is located in the Anjou area, southern Loire, on clayey, silty limestone soils with red sandstone and silica.
The domaine grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Grolleau.
In 2008, the winery was purchased by Anne-Claude Leflaive of Domaine Leflaive together with her husband Christian Jacques and entrusted to Sylvain Potin.
