Blackberry Compote - Alpe Pragas - Fruit Delights from Trentino

Alpe Pragas Black Blueberry Compote is made with wild blueberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) , harvested in the woods of Alta Pusteria. A handcrafted product with an intense, natural flavor, rich in vitamins and antioxidants.

This compote is made from wild-picked blueberries ( Vaccinium myrtillus ), small fruits rich in aroma, colour and nutrients.
Harvested in the pristine woods of Alto Adige, the blueberries are processed within a few hours of being picked, with slow, low-temperature cooking to preserve their colour, aroma and consistency.

The fruit used — about 75% wild blueberries — gives the compote a strong, fresh and slightly acidic flavor.
Thanks to the high content of carotene, vitamin B6, vitamin C and magnesium , and natural anthocyanins , the product maintains intact the beneficial properties typical of the mountain blueberry.

Perfect for bread, yogurt, tarts or fresh cheeses , this compote represents the quintessence of the Alpine forest fruit, made without colorants or preservatives .
