The blackberry (Rubus fruticosus) belongs to the Rosaceae family and is a wild fruit widespread in the temperate regions of Europe, North Africa, the Orient and North America.
For its Blackberry Fruit Compote , Alpe Pragas uses only selected blackberries, picked at the right level of ripeness and carefully processed in the laboratory in Braies.

Gently cooked with cane sugar, lemon juice and natural apple pectin , the blackberries retain their full, fresh and slightly tart flavour.
Rich in vitamins A and C and magnesium , these wild berries offer an intense aroma and a deep, natural, bright color.
