Alpe Pragas Apricot & Rosehip Compote is a blend of sweet South Tyrolean apricots and rosehips, a mountain fruit rich in vitamins. An elegant and natural jam with a harmonious, sweet and sour flavor.
This fruit compote combines the sweetness of sun-ripened apricots with the lively, floral notes of rose hips, in a perfect balance of softness and freshness.
The apricots used come mainly from South Tyrol, in particular from Val Venosta , where sunny days and cool nights favor a high aromatic concentration.
Rosehip , harvested in autumn when the fruits are riper, provides a delicate acidity and a high natural content of vitamin C.
Slowly cooked with cane sugar, lemon juice and natural apple pectin , this compote retains the fruit's colour, aroma and nutritional properties intact.
Perfect for breakfast, tarts, yogurt or pairings with soft cheeses , it is a genuine and refined product, prepared in compliance with the natural philosophy of Alpe Pragas.
