The winery is located in Summonte, a municipality in the Partenio Regional Park, immersed in the typical greenery of these more internal areas of the Campania region.
The company's vineyards are divided between Summonte, Montefredane and Pietradefusi.
In Summonte the company owns 4 hectares located at higher altitudes than the other areas, between 600 and 720 metres above sea level, while in Montefredane you go down a few hundred metres and you find yourself between 550 and 600 metres above sea level, to arrive at Pietradefusi, where the vineyards are cultivated with Aglianico, between 400 and 600 metres above sea level.
The yields in the vineyard are kept very low and the variety of soils and the different locations of the vineyards allow a perfect expression of the Campania variety, while the large temperature variations help the aromatic character of the cultivated vines.
In the cellar, long fermentations at a controlled temperature are followed by refinements in steel for 6 to 12 months for the white wines and a period of several months of rest in the bottle before being put on the market, while for the red wines the period in steel extends from 12 to 24 months and only for the Taurasi is oak wood used.
The winery also produces a very good classic method from early-harvested Fiano grapes, called "Brut Contadino", which rests for 24 months on the lees before remuage and remains for at least another three months in the bottle after disgorgement before being put on the market.
