Cascina Fontana - Red without sulphites 2022

From 60-year-old Nebbiolo vines grown on sandy soil with good calcareous marl, this wine is born with spontaneous fermentation in glass-resin tanks followed by maceration with skins and part of the stems for 15 days.
The wine ages for 7 months in the same containers after racking and in the bottle for 4 months.

Cascina Fontana has been located on the Barolo hills, in Monforte d'Alba, for generations.
The Fontana family cultivates five hectares of land with Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo, following the dictates of organic farming with the least possible intervention.
