Cascina Baricchi - Timorasso "Ca Va Sans Dire" 2014

Cascina Baricchi - Timorasso "Ca Va Sans Dire" 2014

The interpretation of Timorasso by Natale Simonetta of Cascina Baricchi. A wine produced from vines planted in the 1950s at 480 meters above sea level, on soil rich in silt and clay, which rests for ten years in wood before being bottled and put on the market.

A fantastic interpretation that in the glass gives a golden yellow wine with a tense, savoury sip and a marked citrus note. Infinite pleasantness and great potential for expression over time.

Cascina Baricchi is in Neviglie, on the border of the Barbaresco area and Natale Simonetta produces classic Piedmont wines such as Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo, together with a selection of Barbaresco Rose delle Casasse, then a classic method Pinot Noir (Et Voila) with 72 months on the lees with great tension and minerality, a Pinot Noir (PN) labelled as “Vino Rosso” that has the ability to transport us to Burgundy and a refermented in the bottle made with Pinot Noir, Chenin and a series of international white grape varieties (Jonny Gambato).
The ease of drinking sought in the production of wines, which start from a very careful management of the vineyard (it has no certifications, but a great attention to the needs of the vine in the individual vintages) and a great capacity in the cellar, is exemplary and constant in the glass when tasting all the labels.
