Boveri Giacomo - Derthona “Muntà l'é ruma” 2020

This Derthona from 100% Timorasso grapes is born in the municipality of Costa Vescovato from a 0.5 hectare vineyard planted in 2009.

In the vineyard, green manure and grassing are practiced in alternating rows.

The soil is clayey with a western exposure.

In the cellar, a soft pressing is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wines remain on the noble lees for a year before being bottled and refined in the bottle for six months before being put on the market.

The name of the wine comes from the local peasant saying: Montale is Rome, he who is not tamed is tamed.
