Antoniolo, the jewel in the crown among the Gattinara wineries, a historic reality for the Alto Piemonte area and a point of reference for the level of quality that Nebbiolo can reach in the area. Founded in 1940 by Mario Antoniolo, today the company sits on 14 hectares of property, on soils of volcanic origin, acidic and rich in iron and minerals, where Nebbiolo, aided by the climate, gives elegant and complex wines, to be appreciated more and more with the passing of time. of time, which enhances its breadth and expressiveness.
The company works with respect for the territory and the surrounding environment, trying to maintain as much as possible the natural characteristics of the grapes harvested from year to year.
Since the 1970s, the three crus that the company owns have been vinified separately: Osso San Grato, Le Castelle, and San Francesco, to which is added the Gattinara Riserva, made with grapes from these three vineyards.
