Antonio Camillo - "Principio" Maremma Ciliegiolo IGT 2022

Obtained from 100% Ciliegiolo grapes from 40-year-old vineyards located in the area around the municipalities of Manciano and Capalbio.

The vinification takes place in steel and the fermentation is followed by a maceration of approximately two weeks.

Antonio Camillo opened the winery in 2006 and chose to deal only with native varieties of Tuscany, more specifically of Maremma, where he vinifies grapes from vineyards over 40 years old.

The approach in the vineyard is as non-interventional as possible and the products used are copper and sulphur.

The idea behind winemaking, on the other hand, is to accompany the wine without influencing a direction determined by the hand of the producer.

For the refinement, large concrete and wooden containers are used for the production of the superior.
