'A Vita - Cirò Classico Superiore Reserve 2016

This Riserva is produced only in the best years, from 100% Gaglioppo grapes grown in Sant'Anastasia and Muzzunetto in Cirò Marina, on soil rich in marly clay.

In the cellar, fermentation is spontaneous thanks to indigenous yeasts. After a month in contact with the skins, the first-pressed wine is extracted and refined for a year in 200 hl oak barrels.

The wine is released on the market 4 years after the harvest, after a long rest in the bottle.

Alcohol content: 14% vol.

'A Vita was born thanks to Francesco de Franco and his wife Laura, who in 2008 decided to dedicate themselves to viticulture in the Cirò area.

The winery is located in Cirò Marina, Crotone, on the Ionian coast of Calabria and extends for 8 hectares between Cirò and Cirò Marina.

In the vineyard, organic farming certified by SUolo e Salute has been followed since 2002, using sulphur, copper and natural agents, while the soil is enriched with green manure.
