Petricor e la Taggiasca di Lucinasco: l’olio che nasce dalla pietra

Petricor and Taggiasca di Lucinasco: oil born from stone

Lucinasco (Imperia), Liguria — Taggiasca, territory and method

A territory that shapes the flavour

Lucinasco, in the Alta Valle Impero, is a rugged land, marked by dry stone walls and suspended terraces.

Monocultivar and method

Petricor's entire production revolves around Taggiasca olives , hand-picked and pressed within hours. Cold extraction and temperature control preserve their aromas and freshness. The result is an oil with a harmonious and clean profile: sweet almond, Mediterranean herbs, a slightly bitter finish, and a saline aftertaste reminiscent of the sea breeze.

Other specialities are made from the same raw material: crunchy , pitted , pickled and pâté olives, slow processes that enhance the natural elegance of the fruit.

Values and philosophy

Petricor was born from a consistent choice: respect for the land, a transparent supply chain, quality over quantity . Every step—from pruning to pressing—aims to reduce intervention and let the fruit and the place speak for themselves. A simple yet radical idea: quality is a way of farming.
